This Air Force Service Member is a Humble, MMA Fighting, Warrior

How do you know that something is your calling? How do you figure out where your passion lies? Today’s guest on The Morning Formation Podcast is Blake Perry. He explains how he found his calling and what he plans to dedicate his life to, once he retires from the military.

KP’s guest, Blake Perry, is an active duty member of the Air Force. Blake joined the Air Force in June 2017. He currently works as a crew chief for C17s. Soon after joining the military, Blake found another passion of his, MMA fighting.

Blake Perry became interested in sports like wrestling as kid, growing up in Ohio. After being sent to his first duty station, in Oahu, Hawaii, he joined an MMA gym where he dedicated himself to training and improving his skill. Blake believes that combat sports are a great way to really humble oneself. Blake also describes an unforgettable fight he had this year, which left him with a seriously broken nose. He explains why, regardless of the injury, he felt compelled to keep fighting.
