The ruck march- So, many of us, who served in the military, all went through the rigorous initial training of either Basic Combat Training or Boot Camp. This specific task involved carry a heavy lead, sometimes forced with a run, and a time hack.

The idea is that a Soldier/Marine must carry all the essentials on them when dropped into a combat zone. The Army's Air Assault predominately uses ruck marches as it's cornerstone movement because that course is geared around warriors conducting battle with only the essentials carried into battle, hence why there was designation of "Light Infantry."

The point of this video is to highlight and introduce the idea of doing a ruck march in your own neighborhood. Join me in this brief fitness journey, as I enjoy a quick day of neighborhood ruck marching.
