Ever since last Spring, everyone has been locked down, for the most part. Summer has come and gone, now. We've cancelled trips to visit loved ones, had lesser than ideal birthdays, no gatherings at holidays, and remained indoors. My battle, Ruben (Marine), and I decided to take it outdoors into the desert away from the wild fires, city traffic, and the complete lock down life.
Every so often, you should safely get yourself, and the family, outdoors to take in something different than the everyday monotony. This weekend trip was a short one, but necessary to get out for our mental stability. We practiced the 6 foot rule, washed our hands, used sanitizers, and kept our masks on during our trip. As a matter of fact, I lysol'ed the entire room before we pulled open any bags, just as precaution.
