We decided to take a visit to the 2017 Los Angeles County Fair. This was my first year going, but had a great time overall.

Lots of people to see, attractions, livestock, concerts, games, family, food, and fun!!! Really enjoyed the fair, even though I felt it was rather pricey, but what's in LA county that one wouldn't consider over-priced? When you live in LA Co. you just get used to it! lol

I found that one should have some deep pockets. Average burger cost around $11-$12 each as well as pizza slices and corn dogs. A bottle of water was $4.

For $50 you could purchase an unlimited rides bracelet that was only good until 7pm. And just to give you an idea on how much ride and game tickets cost, they had many packages but one was 40 tickets for $20. An average adult ride was about 6-10 tickets, while the kid rides were about 6 tickets each ride. Parking was $15!

I highly suggest to jump on one of the many deals from a place like Costco where they offered 4 entry tickets, free parking, and 44 game/ride tix for $60. I know some other local businesses also offered packages at better prices than "day-of" prices, which was $20 per entry ticket.

It was well worth the experience and I definitely think it's something people should try and see if it's for you, but do your due diligence first and make sure you get a great entry, parking, and game prices by pre-purchasing your LA County Fair tickets.
